The journey began in 1838. Since then, every generation of the Alexandre family has added its own stone to the foundation, shaping the identity of the estate. Here, wine is not merely a product; it is the common thread that binds our ancestors to our children.
Yet, the story of Les Teyssonnières is also one of courage and brotherhood. During the dark hours of World War II, our ancestors chose solidarity. At the risk of their own lives, they welcomed, hid, and employed Jewish families within the estate. This legacy of humanity and protection defines our values today, just as deeply as our terroir.
In 2023, a new chapter began with the arrival of the younger generation. Aurélien, an oenologist, breathes new energy into the cellar while remaining the guardian of ancestral traditions. He is joined by Héloïse, who now shares the voice and image of the estate. For us, every decision is made together, as a family. From the vineyard to the cellar, this unity guarantees the authenticity of our wines. We do not work for ourselves, but for those who came before us and those who will follow.
